  • Recent (pinned or not) files and places in Office apps (2007, 2010, … ?) are in system registry … eg. for MS Word (14.0 in the path is for Office 2010):
    • [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Word\Place MRU]
    • [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Word\file mru]
  • Jump lists (list of recently used filesby diff. programs in the Start Menu) are in AppData
